Founded in 1995, the School of BusinessAdministrationis an international cooperation college jointly organized by the "three parties" of Xiamen Municipal People's Government, Jimei University andTan Kah KeeInternational Society. The college now has the Department of Business Administration, Marketing，Auditing, Tourism Management andElectronic Commerce. Fujian University Humanities and Social Science Research Base- -Fujian and Taiwan Audit Research Center, Emergency Management Research Institute of Jimei University, Institute of Modern Management Science of Jimei University, Business Environment Research Center of Jimei University, Business Development Research Center of Jimei University, Jimei University Research and Travel.
The college has 92 faculty members and 69 full-time teachers, including8professorsand 21 associate professors; 47 doctors (including PhD students) and 4 foreign (outbound) teachers. Three people were selected into the Outstanding Young Talents Support Program of Fujian Provincial Institutions of Higher Learning. In recent years, the teachers of the college have presided 2 projects under National Natural Science Foundation, 56 scientific research projects under organizations as the Humanities and Social Science Fund of the Ministry of Education, Fujian Social Science Fund, Fujian Department of Fujian Provincial Science and Technology or above, and published more than 100 academic papers in core journals or above. There is one characteristic specialty construction point in Fujian Province, one off-campus practical education base for college students in Fujian Province, one national entrepreneurship MOOC, two quality resource sharing courses in Fujian Province, and one online open course of quality resources in Fujian Province.
The college has the delegated power of academic master in business administration (in three directions, including enterprise management, accounting (including auditing), technology, economy and management) and master's degree in accounting. The college has five undergraduate majors in business administration, marketing, auditing, tourism management and e-commerce, which cover two disciplines. The college has a comprehensive laboratory, ERP laboratory, audit and internal control laboratory, super fusion cloud teaching laboratory, ERP sand table simulation, management simulation laboratory, cruise tourism management laboratory, cruise tourism management virtual simulation laboratory, simulation room / simulation dining training room, tourism management comprehensive training room, behavioral science laboratory, etc.
The collegemakesfull use of the "international cooperation, tripartite joint" to successivelycarry out academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation and student exchange with the university of Missouri, Leeds university, the university, Berlin, Australia, Lawrence university, Canada, national university of Singapore, Nanyang technology university, Lingnan universityofHong Kong, Macao university of science and technology, Taiwan Tsinghua university and other universities. With exemption from the examination，outstanding undergraduates of the college are recommended to be admitted to master's degree courses in similar majors of Business School of Macau University of Science and Technology and Business School of Lingnan University of Hong Kong
The college has more than 2,000 on-campus students. The college has set up three student innovation studios and 79 off- campus practice and training bases. In recent years, industrial and commercial students have won many achievements in the national "Challenge Cup", E-commerce Three Innovation Competition, College Students English Competition and other discipline competitions, winning more than 300 provincial and municipal awards, among which more than 140 are national winners，showcasing fruitful results in talent training. The employment rate of college graduates has been over 90% in recent years, ranking among the best.
